EDUCATION

Besides doing 50 plays with Adults, the Group is continuing work with the Slums, tribal  Rural and urban children of the State . The Groups so far has Organised 30 " Theatre- in- Education " Workshops in different Schools in which thousands of children participated in  the Workshop . The aim and objective of organizing such Workshops has never been to  make the children great 'Actors' but making learning a pleasant and enjoyable experience  for Children. Since Drama depends upon individual emotions and feelings . It gives free  expression to the Child. It accelerates his / her motivation to explore new ideas and  Knowledge.There has always been our attempt to explore the possibilities of using Drama  as an instructive tool in classroom teaching .While organizing the Workshops our focuses  is always on personal development, Self-expression,social interaction and communication ,Self-confidence, self-assertive, free from inhibitions, Respect for each individual ,adding  realistic colour to develop interest in Children in the learning process, preserving, enriching  and Strengthening the value and Cultural Heritage.
